Amanda Overmyer achieved international fame as a 2008 Top 12 finalist on the popular television program AMERICAN IDOL. Compared to the late Janis Joplin, Amanda's "In Your Face" full-tilt boogie rock and roll vocal style is a carefully selected mixture of classic and southern rock with a hint of blues. Following AMERICAN IDOL, Amanda headlined at Hollywood's famous Whiskey A Go Go for their "Women In Rock" show and she also performed along with other popular music greats at the Harley Davidson 105th Anniversary party in Milwaukee. With a brand new album due on her own CHILE RECORDS label, Amanda Overmyer is making her first Greater Cincinnati appearance since AMERICAN IDOL at the Madison Theater.
Opening act is The Sonny Moorman Group, Cincinnati's premier blues band.
Special guest emcee for this event will be WXIX-TV FOX19 Morning Show personality Sheila Gray.
