Colonel J.D. and the Shack-Shakers started their hell-ridden, roots music roadshow over five years ago in the foothills of Kentucky, and have since gone on to become the best juke-joint amusement you can get for your money. Melding the rockin' rhythm of traditional bluegrass with the straightforward power of Mississippi roadhouse blues, the band has created a unique, hybrid sound which they call "Jook Music."
